FRIEND Program

Copper Ridge School 

This year we are celebrating diversity in the form of a FRIEND (Fostering Relationships In Early Network Development) Program at Grade 2.  Peer mentoring is a long-standing successful program that teaches appropriate skills to students with special needs.    We come together each Thursday and Friday to share lunch, games, and conversation with peers to develop strong social skills.  It is one of the highlights of our week and we all look forward to it with great enthusiasm!
